I hope you love her like I do, meet ‘Mabel’, a button-up sleeveless cardigan vest, that will soon become your wardrobe stable. This design came about due to the need for it in my own wardrobe, a piece to wear on its own or a versatile layering piece through the transitioning seasons. Started on 15mm before being completed on 10mm, this piece still has the characteristics of the chunkiness of a ‘GoldFreckles’ piece, especially with the big collar and matching button borders. I love this piece in two collars but I also think she will look great in a block colour too. I hope your love making it & wearing it like I have this Spring.

How long will it take to knit : 16-20 hours but if you have knitted before then it could be faster.

Sizing : Pattern is available to make in eight sizes from a UK size 8-22.

Skill Level : This is an easy level knitting pattern and the techniques you will need to know are cast on, knit, purl, picking up stitches, working on circular needles and increasing & decreasing stitches.

Needles : Circular Needles : Size 8mm 60cm & Size 10 mm & 15 mm in both 100cm & 60cm lengths.
